Performance of Horse Gram [Macrotyloma uniflorum (L.) Verdc] Germplasm for Seed Yield and Its Component Characters

The present investigation was carried out with 78 diverse horse gram [Macrotyloma uniflorum (L.) Verdc] genotypes along 4 checks during the late Kharif season. Data recorded on days to 50 percent flowering, maturity, plant height, number of branches per plant, pod length, seeds pod, pods weight (g), seed yield and 100-seed (g). Analysis variance revealed significant differences among all for characters studied. A wide range variations had been observed except pod. highest coefficient variation in followed by 100 plant. phenotypic coefficients (PCV) were higher than genotypic (GCV) traits but narrow. magnitude PCV GCV (g) indicating a which provides chance improvement.
